Synopsis of Meeting 1 Meet-Up

Once the coffee mugs were filled and donuts passed around, the seven attendees of yesterdays meet-up got right to work. The meeting was divided into 2 sections. The first was an informal round table intro. Every member had the chance to 'moderate' for 6 minutes on any subject they wished. Personal bios and everyones' area of expertise were clarified during this time and topics touched on a number of intriguing subjects, varying from frustration with bad clients(we've all been there!) to why brainstorming ideas enhance creative output to how to stresstest a project viability by working backwards .

The second part of the meeting was dedicated to discussions of specifics of sample case study scenarios as well as possibility of implementing an in-house workshop that we would like to call "Challenges". We organizers appreciate the networking aspect of business but we also want to focus on developing cutting edge, practical and applicable techniques that can help us all improve as project managers and designers. Aside from a very interesting extended quasi technical segue into the intriguing world of SEO, courtesy of Nichetags,) today's meeting was more an exchange of general ideas hopefully we'll be taking all the suggestions into consideration for next week's meetup.
