If you thought "Uh-Huh", "Mm-Hmm", or "Yeah" to any of the above, then Vancouver's monthly Web Design Meetup is for you.

Come out to Web Design Wednesday in July, this will be the last Wednesday of the month, where you can meet, network and chat with a variety of local talented people connected to various aspects of the Web. This month's meeting will be another freestyle casual networking event where we can discuss anything you like.

Once again we will meet 7:00pm Wed. July 29th at Subeez Cafe, which has a cool atmosphere, funky music, and good food & drink. Located downtown near the Library at the corner of Smithe & Homer.

Hello Web Designers!

Whether you are a web designer, or a web developer, or you have a web site, or you want one, or you are just interested in internet-related topics, come out to our meetup. We have a friendly and energetic group of talented people in the local web industry.

We'll meet up at Subeez Cafe on Thursday, May 14th at around 7 pm. Subeez is located downtown at the corner of Smithe St. and Homer St., near the library. We'll be in the big area behind the bar on the Homer St. side.

This will a casual networking meeting, it will be a chance to do some networking, mingle around, meet people with similar interests, have some food and beverages, and talk about any topics that you would like to discuss.

This will be another free-style meeting, it will be a chance to do some networking, mingle around, meet people with similar interests, have some food and beverages, and talk about any topics that you would like to discuss.

Greetings Web Designers!

We are finally going to have a meetup on a weekday evening, as many have been hoping for. For a change this meeting will have a little more structure to it. Although we'll still keep things fairly casual and easy-going.

Our own member Behdad Barati will be giving a presentation, which will be especially of interest to those relatively new to web design and development and also those experienced in this field. It should open up some great topics for discussion.

Depending on the size of our group we may have an opportunity after the discussion for everyone to stand up and introduce themselves to the group, perhaps tell us what they are interested in. Then there will be some time for networking. Feel free to bring business cards, materials, websites you want to show off, and so on.

If people are feeling thirsty afterward, we might head to a pub or restaurant in the area for a little beverage.

This meeting will be downtown at The Network Hub, on Richards Street, near Harbour Center and Waterfront Station. The Network Hub is a great spot in a heritage building. Special thanks to Minna at The Network Hub for inviting us to use the space for our meetup.

All in all, I expect it's going to be a great event, and there is plenty of space at the venue for lots of people, so don't be shy and come join us!

We will meet up again for a casual get-together at The End Cafe. There will be a chance at the beginning to do introductions around the group, then let people throw out any questions or topics for the group to discuss. We will keep it unstructured and open it up for people to freely network. Hang out, chat about anything you want, have some food and beverages.
