Introduction: Hi. I've recently moved to Seattle after living in the UK for the past 10 years. There I spent the last 3 years as (among other things) a web content consultant. Now I am moving in the direction of design and development.
Would you like to receive solicitations of job offers from people contacting this group for that purpose?: What is your budget?
What do you want to get out of this group?: In the right circumstances, yes (but should be unobtrusive).
What are your web design skill sets?: I'll use anything from Notepad to Dreamweaver (but only in codeview).
Would you like to use this group to find web designers for you or your business?: Network with other designers, get some ideas, improve my skills...
What would be your favorite meeting venue?: I mainly work in xhtml (with heavy emphasis on CSS), some Javascript, some PHP, and am working on my skills in lots of other tools.
