Hi all,

I have recently been learning Joomla, both as a user and to design templates and themes (just for layout and look & feel, not custom modules). I'm wondering if anyone else in the group is using Joomla (or Drupal or Wordpress, which I've also looked at) for web development. I'd be interested in sharing experiences.

Sorry I can't make it to tonight's meetup. I have another group that meets at the same time so I've been trying to alternate. I hope to make it next month!

cheers

Hi CD

Most of my work is in either joomla (1.015 or 1.5) or plone. I have written some custom modules but I mostly stick with templating. Security also takes a bite of time since joomla is such a popular target for defacing.

Best

My husband and I use all 3. Drupal is my favorite and I used to work with Joomla a lot. My husband is a Wordpress guru. We are new to the area (Chapel Hill) and will try to make the meetups once we get settled.
