"I started designing web sites in 1999. I earned the master CIW certification in 2001. I mostly like to program. I use PHP, ASP, and Javascript for programming."

What is your background?

"I have a technical backgound. Before I got into webdesign I repaired a variety of electronics to component level. Electronics are getting very disposible so I moved to computers"

Are you interested in freelance work?

"Yes, that is one of the reasons I want to "Meetup"."

"I often find that www.tizag.com and www.w3schools.com helpful. Recently, I have been using www.php.net heavily."

Are there any great web design books that you recommend?

"I like the WROX programmer to programmer books. They often seem to help me learn what I need."
