"I have been doing web design for about 6-7 years. I havent dug deeply in it for the last year or so. I dont usually mess with all the dreamweaver stuff. I hand code everything. I use mostly php xhtml css and mysql or oracle backends."

"i like to find sites that catch my eye or interest me and see if i can figure out how they got it to do that. I also like css zen garden and some other random sites. Deviantart.com as well"

Are there any great web design books that you recommend?

"Honestly havent read too many books on it."
