I started this project because there wasn't really a good Yahoo style directory for Prescott. The Prescott Yellow Pages site hasn't been maintained or updated for a long time.

If you register, you can access some nice features like a personal favorite's list, category subscriptions (get notified when new listings are added to a category), and a control panel for editing the links you have submitted.

Listings are free with a reciprocal link from your site. In a few months my own campaigns for the site should result in high rankings in the search engines. At that point this could be a important tool for marketing the Prescott area sites you develop.

hi there. it just so happens we wrote a piece of directory software and released it under GPL. it's PHP-MySQL and it's called linkSpheric. right now the stable version is V0.73GPL and V0.74 is in development. i'd be THRILLED to see it used as a Prescott directory. there are certain security fixes with the new version, so please get in touch with salesATdatasphericDOTcom if interested and we'll send a development copy.
