I need to create a Web site for myself....nd some help...

If there is someone in this group who may be able to help design a Web site for me, I'd be interested in talking to you. I would write the content, but need some design ideas that are clean, simple, elegant. I come from a pr background and until I can get my own Web site design business off the ground, I need to rely on my pr background to make some money as a freelance writer, editor, media relations.

I'd like someone to design the Web site using Dreamweaver as that is what I will be learning myself. But this Web site should also include a content management system so I can make changes to the content myself.

I can't pay a lot and would consider a barter for the design services. Any takers?

I don't think Dreamweaver is the best solution for building a content management system, but
if you should decide to go that route Adobe has a content management system that works with Dreamweaver called Contribute.
I would recommend using Wordpress ,Joomla or Drupal.
Depending on your budget we may be able to work something out if your still looking.

Glen, thanks for much for getting back to me. Does your company have a Web site (duh, of course you do!) that I can see what kind of work you've done before?

Also, I would like to talk to you further about designing my Web site, or at least provide some advice?

And thank you for your suggestions about Contribute and Wordpress, etc., I will look into those as well.

In the meantime, if you can let me know your Web site so I can check out your portfolio, that would be great. Then I'd like to set up a phone call with you to discuss?
